The spam actions are always annoying. Green Desktiny helpdesk can reduce the spams, here the tips in General Setting: 1. Always use the validation: It is either with Captcha or Question Answer validation. Captcha is very good to prevent ticket submitting by bots. Since some people prefer not using Captcha, there is alternative for using Question Answer. You can set this Question Answer in menu Tickets->Questions Answers. How it works: Whenever users want to submit ticket, they will be question randomly from your list of Question Answer. 2. "Force create ticket on web" will force user to submit ticket on web only. They cannot submit ticket directly to your department email, except the helpdesk detect that it is the reply. So, spammers must face Captcha or Question Answer validation. 3. "Users must be registered/logged in" will ultimately removed all spam emails, because it will need to be registered before submit any tickets or replies.
